The Deputy Minister says the transformation and development of small businesses is a key component and contributor to government’s economic development agenda.

Corporate Volunteers Pack 650,000 Meals for South African Children

In a remarkable display of community spirit, over 3,500 corporate volunteers gathered at the Sandton Convention Centre earlier this month to pack 650-thousand meals for children across South Africa.
The project, spearheaded by Rise Against Hunger Africa marked one of the largest annual mobilisations of the country’s corporate sector for a single cause: Child development through nutrition.
This was aimed to support child development through nutrition, with the meals set to be distributed to over 78,500 children at early childhood development centres nationwide.
