Western Cape Schools Unite to Save Lives through Blood Donation
Story 3
Ten of the Western Cape’s top blood-donating schools are joining forces to make a difference in their communities.
From July 28 to August 1 these schools will participate in the Week of Warriors initiative a youth-led blood donation campaign organized by the Western Cape Blood Service.
The Western Cape Blood Service is counting on young donors to help address the critical shortage of blood stocks during winter, when levels typically drop due to flu season, exam stress, and colder weather.
The campaign slogan, “Let’s Unite to Save Lives,” highlights both the urgency and the unity behind the drive.
