The event also launched Raising Valued Men Africa, a mentorship platform for boys and young men.

Cyclist joins team SPCA for Cape Town Cycle Tour

Charl Marais will ride the 109-kilometre Cape Town Cycle Tour this year with Team SPCA to raise funds for animals in need.
Through his fundraising, Charl is helping cover veterinary care, grooming, behavioural support, and rehoming for 70 rescued animals.
Together with Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Team SPCA is working toward a R500,000 goal, with each rider raising a minimum of R3,000 to ensure rescued animals are properly prepared for adoption.
