Kids build skills with LEGO on Global Play Day"
Story 1
Yesterday, as the world marked International LEGO Day, children around the globe, including here in South Africa, benefited from play-based learning that helps build problem-solving, confidence and resilience.
Education organisations highlighted how simple play allows children, especially in under-resourced communities, to learn essential skills even without formal classrooms.
By building, imagining and experimenting, children develop focus and emotional control that support school readiness.
The day reinforced a simple message: giving children time and space to play is an investment in stronger, more capable future generations.
