Wits has launched AMPLIFY to improve first-year maths teaching.
The new unit will manage course delivery, assessments, student support and staff development for more than 5,000 first-year maths students each year.

People in KwaZulu-Natal have access to a mobile art gallery as Durban-based artist Ayanda Gumede runs the I Am Art Gallery.
The country’s first walk-in gallery on wheels, it visits urban and remote communities, giving residents a chance to experience art first-hand.
The gallery makes art accessible to children and adults in rural areas, many of whom have never set foot in an art gallery before.
