              Global music industry gathers in Tshwane for ACCES 2025

              Tshwane will host the 2025 Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases from 30 October to 1 November.
The event will bring together over a thousand delegates from more than 45 countries, including Grammy-winning producer Commissioner Gordon Williams and top African artists.
For the first time, Africa’s leading music trade event comes to Tshwane, featuring discussions, workshops, and a two-day showcase festival with more than 80 performers.
Key themes include music finance, artist protection, and the role of innovation in shaping the industry’s future.
The conference is organised by the Music In Africa Foundation in partnership with the City of Tshwane and other national partners.

              SA showcases electric vehicle power with e-Mobility Energy Drive

              The Department of Science, Technology and Innovation has launched the e-Mobility Energy Drive to prove that electric vehicles can go the distance in South Africa.
In partnership with SANEDI, the Uyilo e-Mobility Programme, and Volvo Cars South Africa, the initiative will see a Volvo XC40 Recharge travel from Johannesburg to Gqeberha, collecting data on performance and energy use.
The drive forms part of Transport Month and aims to boost confidence in clean mobility while promoting South Africa’s transition to a low-carbon future.
