Matriculants in Western Cape and Gauteng are being urged to celebrate responsibly as they head to Rage festivals, pens-down parties, and smaller end-of-exam gatherings
The exams officially concluded yesterday for both the NSC and IEB examinations.
Western Cape Education MEC David Maynier encouraged students to take necessary precautions at events, including knowing safety measures, emergency numbers, and keeping parents informed.
Gauteng Education Spokesperson Steve Mabona also cautioned against reckless behavior, discouraging "pens-down" parties that could lead to harm:
