More than 5000 learners to benefit from robotics and coding programme

Over 5-thousand learners across six provinces are going to benefit from groundbreaking robotics and coding programme.
The initiative by Microsoft South Africa and education technology company Seseko aims to equip underserved communities with the skills needed to thrive in the digital economy.
Through hands-on bootcamps, accredited teacher training, and the supply of robotics kits to 30 participating schools, Seseko and Microsoft are bridging the digital divide.
Notably, 105 teachers from 68 Gauteng schools have completed SACE-accredited training, enabling them to integrate robotics and coding into everyday teaching.
