Bafana Bafana received the South African flag from President Cyril Ramaphosa at a World Cup send-off dinner in Pretoria.
Coach Hugo Broos announced his 26-man squad at the Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guest House.

Over 100 blankets donated to Pretoria communities
Over 100 blankets collected during a community drive at the Voortrekker Monument are being distributed to old age homes, care centres and vulnerable communities across Pretoria as winter sets in.
The initiative was led by Solidarity’s community development organisation, the Jacaranda Beetle Club and MachKnitz volunteers who knitted and crocheted the blankets.
A convoy of 32 Beetle cars transported the blankets, which were first displayed at the Voortrekker Monument before distribution.

Durban’s arts scene will feature photography, theatre and live performances over the next few weeks.
In Hillcrest, Woza Moya’s Gogolympics photo exhibition celebrates grandmothers from the Valley of a Thousand Hills and raises funds for a sports day involving more than 800 elderly participants.
Meanwhile, the 031 Theatre Festival will showcase comedy, drama and music productions by local and visiting performers. The festival also includes productions by students from the International School of Performing Arts.

Black Coffee sells out London O2 concert
Black Coffee performed a sold-out show at the O2 Arena in London last Fridaay, featuring a live orchestra and special guest appearances including American singer Alicia Keys.
