Rand Water's planned maintenance programme to begin in Gauteng tomorrow

Rand Water has announced a series of infrastructure maintenance operations from tomorrow at 3am to Tuesday 2nd of June at 5pm, with additional work scheduled until July.
The maintenance is aimed at boosting capacity, operational efficiency and plant reliability ahead of increased water demand expected from August.
The major maintenance will affect key pumping systems Eikenhof, Palmiet and Mapleton which serve a broad network of municipalities.
Residents across Gauteng and parts of the Northwest can expect low water pressure or intermittent supply during this period.

South African Coding and Robotics educator Nadine Smith, has been honoured with a 025 EDGE in Tech Athena Award, for Early Career Leadership.

The South African teacher was the only recipient from Africa and one of just four global recipients of the award.
