DTIC to launch two online stores to advance South Africa's Buy Local Campaign

The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition will launch two online stores under South Africa's national Buy Local campaign on the 1st of July in Johannesburg.

The initiative features a consumer store named Shop Proudly SA and a business-to-business portal called the Market Access Platform.

The project is intended to support small and medium enterprises, promote local sourcing, and streamline the connection between buyers and local suppliers.
More than 1700 South African-made products will be available on the platforms.
