A new mega bridge in Lesotho is set to double water exports to South Africa.
The 825-metre bridge, 90 metres high, forms part of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.
It currently supplies 780 million cubic metres of water a year, with transfers expected to rise to more than 1.27 billion cubic metres once completed.
President Cyril Ramaphosa says the project shows what Africa can achieve through cooperation and infrastructure development:
