The Proteas will face Australia at the DP World Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg today, , for the 15th annual Pink Day, raising funds and awareness for breast cancer.Proceeds will support the Breast Care Unit at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, helping strengthen breast cancer detection, treatment and research in Gauteng. The fifth annual Top 16 Youth-Owned Brands Awards took place at Summer Place in Hyde Park earlier this month.The evening celebrated youth-owned businesses, and the achievements behind some of the country’s most successful brands.Founder and CEO Pat Mahlangu says the awards aim to recognise young people who are turning their ideas into businesses, creating opportunities, despite the challenges faced by entrepreneurs.
Mahlangu says the platform was created to challenge the negative narrative that is often associated with South Africa's youth.

Johannesburg South boxer Ricardo “Magic Man” Malajika will fight for the vacant WBC super flyweight world title in Tokyo today. He faces Japan’s Tomoya Tsuboi at the Toyota Arena. Malajika has fought all 19 of his professional bouts at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park. This will be his first fight outside South Africa.Tsuboi has only three professional fights but will have home-crowd support. Malajika says he is ready to embrace the pressure as he bids for his first world title.
