Learners awarded bursaries by Water and Sanitation Department

54 outstanding high school learners have been awarded bursaries through the Water and Sanitation Department’s Learning Academy.
15 primary school learners also received cash prizes totalling R225, 000 on behalf of their schools at the Department’s Water and Sanitation Educational Programme National Adjudication.
Water and Sanitation Deputy Minister David Mahlobo says the awards are paving the way for a brighter future in the water and sanitation sector.

Various libraries will assist learners by creating dedicated spaces to study.
Mayoral committee member for Community Services and Health, Francine Higham, says the matric support programme offers space and access to resources, including study guides, and the online SmartCape service, where they can access past exam question papers:
