FoodForward SA & Marriott International join forces to combat hunger in SA

Marriott International recently joined forces with FoodForward SA to help address one of South Africa’s most pressing challenges: food insecurity.
The partnership resulted in over 25 Marriott volunteers from six hotels packing boxes of staple groceries at FFSA facilities in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Each 20-kilogram box feeds a family of four for a month, helping redirect surplus food to those who need it most.
Marriott International’s Dorcas Dlamini Mbele says this initiative forms part of their global commitment to sustainability and community impact.
