The initiative also supports local jobs, as Better Bedfordview employs teams to maintain streets, parks, and public spaces.

South Africa’s FATF Delisting Boosts Investor Confidence
Story 2
South Africa has been removed from the Financial Action Task Force greylist after more than two years of monitoring.
The FATF made the announcement in Paris following its plenary and working group meetings.
The country was listed in 2023 for not fully complying with global standards to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.
Economists and business groups have welcomed the decision, saying it will help restore investor confidence and ease international transactions.
Being off the list is expected to lower compliance costs, shorten payment processing times, and improve South Africa’s reputation as a reliable investment destination.
Government and business partners say work will continue to strengthen financial crime investigations and ensure the country remains compliant in future reviews.
