The Amanzimtoti Community Police Forum held a safety education session for children at a Pre-Primary school in Winklespruit.
Volunteers taught learners about personal safety, body boundaries, safe and unsafe secrets, and identifying trusted adults.
The session also included activities such as songs, question-and-answer exercises, and games to reinforce safety lessons.
Children were given helpline numbers and instructed to speak to a trusted adult if they feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

FIFA announces World Cup team base camps

FIFA has announced the team base camps for the World Cup, with defending champions Argentina and England both assigned to Kansas City in the United States.
The tournament will feature 48 teams, with 39 based in the United States, seven in Mexico and two in Canada.
Teams will use the base camps for training and recovery during the competition, which starts next month.
South Africa has been assigned to Pachuca in Mexico, while other African teams including Senegal, Ghana, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria are spread across venues in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
