Main Street Sundays reimagines public spaces in the Johannesburg CBD
Story 1
Jozi My Jozi's Main Street Sundays is reimagining the Johannesburg CBD by transforming a one-kilometre stretch from 44 Main Street to Gandhi Square in Marshalltown into a vibrant, car-free public space.

The event features pop-up markets, live music, skate zones, art walks and dedicated family and wellness areas.

The initiative seeks to foster a stronger sense of community and support for local businesses and encourage residents to reclaim and reimagine public spaces in the heart of Johannesburg.

Organisers have confirmed the return of the event in August, following the remarkable success of its inaugural edition in April, which attracted more than 5,000 visitors to the CBD.
