Africa Walls Project brings colour to Rosebank streets
Story 3
The Africa Walls project, in collaboration with World Wide Walls, brought the streets of Rosebank to life earlier this month with a walkabout to identify potential sites for murals.
The initiative aims to celebrate local creativity and transform the area into a vibrant art hub.
Project coordinator Karabo Mokoena says the walkabout allowed them to envision the space's potential, adding that the murals would enhance Rosebank's already incredible energy.
The first mural is set for September, with a larger World Wide Walls Festival scheduled for November 3-16, featuring around 25-artists.
