Tshwane, CSIR Partner on Service Delivery Data
Story 3
The City of Tshwane has partnered with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research to develop a data platform aimed at improving service delivery.
The system will bring together information from different municipal departments, helping officials track service delivery problems, monitor progress and identify who is responsible for resolving them.
Tshwane will be the pilot municipality, with implementation planned over two years, from July 2026 to June 2028.
Ward councillors are also expected to access relevant municipal information on their mobile phones, while the platform will help link service delivery plans to budgets and infrastructure projects.
