The Spartan Baby Badass Ultra challenged competitors to complete set distances every hour through the day and night.
Funds raised from the event will support the Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa, helping children and families access care and support during treatment.
Founders say the event continues to unite communities in giving hope to families affected by childhood cancer.

The Premier Padel P2 Tournament gets underway at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on the 26th of July, bringing some of the world’s leading padel players to South Africa.
The event is part of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour and has the backing of the International Padel Federation.
Padel continues to grow in popularity both globally and locally, with nearly 450 clubs now active across South Africa.
Organisers say the tournament will give South African players valuable exposure by competing against international stars, while also helping to boost the long-term growth of the sport in the country.

Mamelodi Sundowns win CAF Champions League

South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns have won the CAF Champions League title for a second time after they played out a 1-1 draw with hosts ASFAR of Morocco in the second leg of the final, in Rabat on Sunday.
Combined with a 1-0 win in the first leg in Tshwane on 17 May, the Brazilians took the tie 2-1 on aggregate to win the continental championship for a second time, adding to their maiden triumph in 2016.
The team earned a record-breaking 100-million-rand in prize money for their win.
