Learners at Siyabonga Secondary School in Soweto now have access to a new robotics and artificial intelligence lab aimed at boosting coding, technology and career readiness skills.
The facility was launched through a partnership between the Shoprite Foundation and the Trevor Noah Foundation as part of a wider education drive across Gauteng.
The programme will give learners hands on experience with robotics, coding and smart technology, with older pupils also taking part in AI focused career training.
Education partners say the goal is to prepare young people for a rapidly growing tech driven future and improve access to digital skills in local schools.
