Guests travelled from Sandton on the Gautrain before models showcased locally made designs inspired by African heritage and the City of Gold.
Tlale says the collection celebrates African identity while also promoting South African fashion, textiles and craftsmanship, with every piece created in Johannesburg.

The dog was brought in as a stray from Umlazi, where staff found an active microchip linked to the owner’s up to date details.
The SPCA contacted the owner, who rushed to the centre after believing his pet was gone forever.
Staff say the dog immediately recognised him, leading to an emotional reunion described as deeply moving.
