The City of Cape Town is initiating a procurement process to acquire electric buses for its MyCiTi service.The move aims to reduce carbon emissions and to expand the MyCiTi fleet. The City says it plans to use electric buses to lower its carbon footprint and improve the urban environment.The Mother City is also exploring the possibility of electrifying other municipal vehicles, including its waste collection trucks.
