The National Children's Theatre in Johannesburg is helping young people build confidence and life skills through its latest production of Disney's The Lion King JR.
The show features 51 young performers, including children with disabilities, who have spent months preparing for the production.
Beyond the stage, the programme gives participants an inclusive space to develop communication skills, make friends and discover their talents.

Gamers in Johannesburg will have the chance to test their skills when the MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience arrives at The Glen Shopping Centre from today until Sunday.
The mall-based esports tournament will allow players to compete in popular video games, qualify for the national finals and win prizes.
The event also offers free-play gaming stations, giving newcomers and experienced players an opportunity to take part and connect with South Africa's growing gaming community.

Langa residents urged to recycle e-waste

Residents of Langa in the Western Cape are being encouraged to drop off unwanted electronic devices at collection points to promote recycling and reduce environmental harm.
This forms part of wider efforts across South Africa to reduce electronic waste by collecting, recycling and refurbishing old devices.
Organisations, including the E-Waste Association of South Africa, are working with local partners to recover valuable materials such as metals and plastics, while giving usable electronics a second life.
Deputy Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment Bernice Swarts says the project also teaches learners and communities how to recycle old electronics responsibly and protect the environment:
