South African scientist Professor Glenda Gray has been formally admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Society in the United Kingdom, one of the world's most prestigious scientific institutions. Gray, an NRF A-rated researcher, is among more than 90 leading scientists from around the world elected to the Fellowship this year. Her groundbreaking research has helped prevent HIV transmission from mothers to babies, advanced HIV prevention for women, and contributed to COVID-19 vaccine research that confirmed the safety and effectiveness of vaccines in South Africa.

Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) is upgrading its mobile app with an AI-powered chatbot and augmented reality navigation to make travelling through its airports easier.
The new chatbot, expected later this year, will help passengers quickly find answers to their travel questions. ACSA is also developing an augmented reality wayfinding feature that will guide travellers to their departure gates, shops or other facilities using their smartphone. Passengers will be able to scan QR codes inside airport terminals or select a destination in the app for step-by-step directions.

Devardo, Aqeel and Mackenzie, who are part of the Earthchild Project's Young Leaders programme, are raising funds and collecting food, warm clothing, toiletries and other essential items for families in need. They hope to raise **R30,000** in supermarket gift cards while gathering donations from several schools for Heaven's Nest Children's Home.

The album is performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra and Grammy Award-winning conductor Gustavo Dudamel.Although Hopkins is best known for his celebrated acting career, his love of music began when he started playing the piano at just four years old.
