Volunteers in Gauteng have built a new sensory garden at Vita Nova in Daggafontein, in Springs, creating an accessible space for residents with disabilities to play, explore, and interact.
The project was led by the Rotary E-Club of East Rand, Gauteng Rovers, and local Scouts, who worked together to construct the garden.
The garden includes sensory features that help residents with disabilities engage their senses and encourage social interaction.
Residents now use the shared space to connect, play, and take part in daily activities through the community-led effort.

Soul Candi Institute of Music has launched its 2026 academic cycle with a nationwide student recruitment campaign running until mid-February.
