SA golfer wins DP World Tour title in Kenya

South African golfer Casey Jarvis has won his first DP World Tour title at the Magical Kenya Open in Nairobi.
The Boksburg resident finished 25-under, beating American Davis Bryant by three strokes after strong rounds throughout the tournament.
His father, Kevin Jarvis, who coached him from age four attended the event to witness the victory.
Since turning professional in 2022, Jarvis has also won Sunshine Tour events and the Euram Bank Open on the Challenge Tour, building momentum before his maiden European Tour win.

Robby Ogilvie wins 2026 Open Competition at Sony World Photography Awards

Photographer Robby Ogilvie has won a category in the 2026 Open Competition at the Sony World Photography Awards for his image of Bo-Kaap in Cape Town.
His photograph, Colour Divides, was selected from more than 430,000 entries submitted from over 200 countries.
The image captures the historic Bo-Kaap neighbourhood, where residents celebrated their freedom by paiting their homes in bright colours.
The photograph will be exhibited in London in April, where the Open Photographer of the Year will be announced.
