Black Coffee Foundation delivers food parcels to SA families

The Black Coffee Foundation has delivered 4,800 food parcels to households across South Africa.
Founded by Nkosinathi Maphumulo (DJ Black Coffee), the foundation has been raising funds to expand deliveries during the holiday period.
The foundation's charity work, themed "Feed A Family and Share The Joy", kicked off earlier this month in KwaZulu-Natal, followed by Eastern Cape, then Gauteng, spreading joy and support to those in need.
The project collects donations to buy and distribute food parcels to families affected by high food prices and job losses.
A R1,000 donation feeds one family, with donors acknowledged on the parcel.

Uber and Lyft announce plans to trial Chinese robotaxis in UK in 2026

Uber and Lyft plan to partner with Baidu to trial autonomous robotaxis on UK roads from 2026.
The companies intend to test Baidu’s Apollo Go driverless vehicles in London as part of ride-hailing services.
Apollo Go already operates driverless taxis in dozens of cities, mainly in China, and has completed millions of rides without onboard drivers.
UK transport authorities are reviewing applications to allow limited testing of the vehicles on public roads.

Milk and Cookies Festival coming Joburg & Cape Town in 2026

US rapper Gunna will headline Milk and Cookies Festival in Cape Town and Joburg.
The multi-platinum hip-hop sensation will perform at Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town on 2 January 2026 with South African DJ Virgo Deep.
DJ Kent will join Gunna at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg on 10 January 2026.
The festival will also include the Milk and Cookies Music Week which includes educational workshops and panels for aspiring music writers and producers.
