Petrol and Diesel Prices Set to Drop in September
Story 2
South African motorists can expect some relief at the pumps next month with petrol and diesel prices set to decrease. Data from the Central Energy Fund indicates petrol could fall by six to fourteen cents per litre while diesel is expected to drop by around fifty-two cents per litre.
The anticipated cuts come despite ongoing tensions in the Middle East, as favourable exchange rates and lower oil prices support an over-recovery in fuel costs. The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy will confirm the final prices by the end of August.
