Wu Opera enchants UJ audiences with vibrant celebration of Chinese heritage

The Zhejiang Wu Opera Research Centre brought a one-night-only performance of Wu Opera to the Arts Centre at the University of Johannesburg’s Auckland Park Kingsway Campus.

Meta Platforms has launched a real-time translation feature for WhatsApp, making it easier for users to communicate across languages.
The feature is available in six languages on Android devices and 19 languages on iPhones, with more languages planned.
Users can long-press a message and tap “Translate” to view it in another language, and the function works in personal chats, group chats, and channel updates.
Android users can also enable automatic translation for entire chat threads. Meta says all translations occur on users’ devices, keeping conversations private.
