Gauteng Motorists warned of heavy traffic amidst G20 Summit preparations

Gauteng motorists can expect major traffic disruptions today in the cities of Tshwane, Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni.

This comes as authorities prepare for operational readiness ahead of the upcoming G20 Leaders Summit next month.
High security routes including the N1, N3, N12, M1, R21, R24 and the R512 will be affected.

The operation will result in road closures, lane restrictions and rolling traffic stops between 8am and 2pm today.
