Diale-Tlabela says Mogale City was prioritised due to high traffic volumes and its strategic economic importance.
She emphasised that Magalies Road remains a vital route supporting residents’ travel, business activity, tourism access, and regional freight movement.

This year's campaign is observed under the theme Letsema, a Sesotho and Setswana word meaning people uniting to work towards a shared goal.

Banyana Banyana coach, Desiree Ellis, says she will use the international friendly match against Morocco next week Tuesday to assess individual performances.
This is in preparation for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Ellis has picked a 26-player squad to travel to Morocco on Friday.
She says the friendly match will also provide players with valuable exposure to different tactical setups and competitive match intensity ahead of WAFCON.
