Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport Kedibone Diale-Tlabela is launching a major road maintenance activation along Magalies Road in Mogale City in the West Rand District Municipality.
The initiative forms part of the province’s broader campaign to upgrade key mobility corridors, improve road safety, and strengthen municipal maintenance capacity.
Diale-Tlabela says Mogale City was prioritised due to high traffic volumes and its strategic economic importance.
She emphasised that Magalies Road remains a vital route supporting residents’ travel, business activity, tourism access, and regional freight movement.
