Tshwane’s historic Church Square is being prepped to welcome over 100 vendors next week for the city’s Entrepreneurs and Farmers Market Day.
Mayor Nasiphi Moya led a clean-up ahead of the event on November 26, which will see farmers, artists, crafters, and other traders showcase their products to the public and potential investors.
The market aims to support informal traders and boost the township economy, with plans to make Church Square a recurring platform for business and tourism.

Colombia has committed half a million square kilometres of its Amazon biome to renewable and regenerative activities only, banning future oil and mineral extraction.
The area, roughly the size of Sweden, covers 42 percent of Colombia’s territory and seven percent of the Amazon Rainforest.
