Knysna march marks 9 years since fires

Residents of Knysna will take part in a commemorative march on 27 June to mark nine years since the 2017 fires that affected the town and surrounding areas.
Organised by Knysna Fire Services, the event will honour those who lost their lives and recognise the work of firefighters, volunteers and emergency responders.
The march will begin at 10am on Main Road and end at Clyde Street.
The event also reflects on the community-led recovery efforts that helped rebuild the region after the disaster.
