Renier Janse van Rensburg aged 14, was honoured by the Western Province Cricket Umpires Association after being recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest cricket umpire in the world. Having played cricket since age five, Renier passed Cricket South Africa’s umpiring exams and was inspired to apply after learning the previous youngest umpire was 15.His mother, Ciska Keyser, expressed pride in his achievement, saying she always knew cricket was his passion but never imagined he would set a world record. Renier’s accomplishment marks a promising start to his umpiring career.

The Shanghai resort which will be hosting the world's biggest Legoland is the first in China. Lego sections include Ninjago, Lego Friends and Monkie Kid lands, in which classic Lego pieces are brought to life and supersized. The Miniland creations took 168,000 hours to complete, using more than 20 million bricks. Lego, the Danish family-owned toymaker that produces the bricks, is a familiar name in China where it has more than 400 stores.
