On 20 June, Region E’s health and youth sector successfully launched a mobile health outreach at Kwabhekilanga Sports Ground.
The campaign delivered important services including HIV testing, TB screening, family planning and health education, making healthcare more accessible to local residents.
By removing barriers like long queues, the mobile clinic provided a welcoming space especially for men and young people to get tested and seek support.
Community members responded positively, appreciating the convenience and care brought directly to their doorstep.
This outreach supports ongoing efforts to close the HIV treatment gap and promote healthier futures for all.

Former England football captain David Beckham has officially been knighted for his contributions to sport and charity.

A literacy project at Diepsloot Combined School is helping young learners thrive, thanks to the efforts of trained youth tutors from the local community.
Through the Edu Fun initiative, unemployed school leavers receive teaching experience while guiding Grade 2 and 3 learners in reading, writing and comprehension.
