Brave Collective will host its eighth annual Fortune Favours the Brave gathering on 5 August at The Forum in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
The event will bring together hundreds of women for discussions on money, investing, leadership and building wealth.

Jozi My Jozi Walk Brings Community Together

The Jozi My Jozi Walk will take place in Johannesburg on 26 July, with 5km, 8km and 15km routes starting and ending at Ellis Park Stadium.
Organisers have added live performances, community art displays on Nelson Mandela Bridge and a post-walk concert to celebrate local talent.
Participants will vote for a People's Choice Award winner and can buy Mi-Change vouchers that provide meals, shelter and support for people experiencing homelessness.
The routes are accessible for wheelchairs and prams, encouraging broad community participation.

SA Dancer Makes Ballet History

South African ballet dancer Candice Desilets has graduated from the Vaganova Academy in St Petersburg, Russia, becoming the first South African to complete the programme.
Candice was accepted into the academy in 2022 after training at The Russian School of Ballet from the age of 10.
She spent four years studying the Vaganova method, a classical ballet training system taught around the world:
