The 2025 Global Citizen Festival will take place on 27 September at New York’s Central Park Great Lawn.
Hosted by Global Citizen Ambassador Hugh Jackman, this year’s event highlights African voices on stage and in advocacy.
Performers include African stars Tyla and Ayra Starr, alongside Shakira, The Weeknd and Mariah the Scientist.
The festival’s campaign aims to deliver energy access to 1 million Africans, protect 30 million hectares of the Amazon rainforest, and provide education for 30 000 children worldwide.
