The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture is working to supply schools with sports equipment.
The initiative aims to promotes healthy living and serves as a foundation for sport development contributing to South Africa's sporting success.
Seventy-three Gauteng schools gathered in Randfontein where they received sport equipment from the department.

The Gauteng Government has opened a modern licensing centre at Protea Glen Mall in Soweto, to bring government services closer to the people.
The modern facility, officially opened on Tuesday is set to improve the licensing process for residents.
Boasting cutting-edge innovation with an emphasis on professionalism and community engagement the centre will go a long way in enhancing the quality of licensing services offered in the area.
Roads and Transport MEC, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela says the department was actively seeking to meet the needs of underserved communities.
