Family launches NSRI rescue boat fundraiser in memory of kiteboarder Graham Howes

The family of late kiteboarder Graham Howes has kicked off a fundraising campaign to build a new NSRI rescue boat named in his honour.
The campaign ties in with the Red Bull King of the Air competition at Kite Beach, running from 22 November to 7 December, bringing the kiteboarding community together in support of lifesaving work.
The Graham Howes Rescue Craft will become part of the NSRI fleet, helping crews respond to emergencies along South Africa’s coasts.
The initiative celebrates Howes’ love of the sea while giving others a chance to stay safe on the water. Supporters can donate online through the NSRI website.
