10th annual Science Forum SA taking place at CSIR International Convention Centre

The Science, Technology and Innovation Department is from today hosting the 10th annual Science Forum South Africa at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria.
The 5-day event, themed Igniting conversations about science, will draw over 3-thousand scientists, policymakers and youth innovators.
The forum features high-level dialogues on science diplomacy, disruptive technologies and innovation financing.
Minister Blade Nzimande will deliver the keynote address tomorrow with awards, and more than 20 side events scheduled.

This as the department has partnered with the National Education Collaboration Trust, to implement a multi-year education improvement plan.
The Trust was founded in 2013 as a means to mobilise national resources to support government in achieving sustainable and substantial improvement in education.
