Montrose Primary School in Parkomore, hosted the Gauteng Art for Public Schools Visual Art Festival.

The event brought together learners from Midrand, Mikateka, Wendywood, and Halfway House primary schools in a celebration of young talent.

Montrose Primary School’s hall was lined with artwork inspired by this term’s theme: Landscapes of South Africa.

Learners explored the beauty of our country, from the lush hills of Limpopo to the tranquil shores of the Western Cape, through pencil sketches, charcoal drawings, and colorful paintings.

Northwest government hails R1.5 Billion Investment at Stillfontein

Mining giant Harmony Gold has invested R1.5 billion at its Stilfontein operations in the City of Matlosana in the North West province.
North West Premier Lazarus Mokgosi, applauded the Investement, which is a culmination of ongoing efforts by the premier to create investment opportunities and to address the scourge of unemployment in the province.

Mokgosi says the investment gives credence to government’s efforts of fostering partnerships with various stakeholders to create an enabling environment for investment and job creation.

Prince William launches new Docuseries 'Guardians'

Britain's Prince William has teamed up with the BBC to create a docuseries that highlights the critical role that rangers play at the forefront of conservation across the globe.

Guardians was launched on Thursday on BBC Earth’s YouTube and social channels.

The series, created for The Royal Foundation’s charity United for Wildlife, features six to 10-minute episodes, each focusing on a different part of the world.
