Prince Kaybee cycles 600km for health

South African DJ Kabelo Motsamai, popularly known as Prince Kaybee, has completed a 600-kilometre cycling challenge from Johannesburg to Durban to raise awareness about lifestyle-related illnesses.
The HiPace Cycle Challenge focused on conditions such as obesity, diabetes and high cholesterol, encouraging people to take better care of their health.
Riders covered the route over three days earlier this month, travelling through the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal before finishing at Durban's South Beach.

The learners have helped clean and maintain several parks and community spaces in Kensington and Jeppe.
It also encourages learners to take an active role in caring for their local environment.

Knysna residents unite in remembrance

Residents of Knysna will take part in a commemorative march on 27 June to mark nine years since the 2017 fires that affected the town and surrounding areas.
Organised by Knysna Fire Services, the event will honour those who lost their lives and recognise the work of firefighters, volunteers and emergency responders.
The march will begin at 10am on Main Road and end at Clyde Street.
The event also reflects on the community-led recovery efforts that helped rebuild the region after the disaster.

Countdown begins for Durban SPAR Challenge

As the Durban SPAR Women's Challenge approaches on 28 June, participants are encouraged to collect their race packs on 26 and 27 June at Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium.
Runners can also look forward to live performances by Veranda Panda and DJ J-Cue after crossing the finish line.
Women who stay for the prize-giving will stand a chance to win lucky draw prizes, including a R10,000 SPAR voucher.
SPAR will also give away a Hyundai Exter valued at nearly R270,000.
