The Johannesburg Development Agency has commenced work for Phase 2 of the Rosebank Public Transport Facility upgrade.

The upgrade will focus on enhancing infrastructure, improving traffic flow, and ensuring the facility can accommodate the increasing number of daily commuters.

The JDA's CEO Themba Mathibe, says the upgrade will improve the daily experience of commuters and support inclusive economic activity through better facilities for informal traders.

The upgrade is expected to improve safety, reduce congestion, and create a more future-ready transport environment for both commuters and operators.
