Bryanston Home Celebrates Christmas Cheer

A Bryanston family is marking 20-years of transforming their home into a festive wonderland. The annual event, organised by homeowner Danielle Goff, has grown into a popular community attraction drawing families out of their homes to share in the festive spirit.
Each year has a different theme and this year, the theme is The Grinch touching on the famous children's tale that is about How the Grinch stole Christmas. Goff also known as Mrs Claus told reporters that the event creates memories for children and adults.

Johannesburg residents can enjoy the city's annual Festival of Lights every Thursday to Sunday from 7pm to 10 pm at the Joburg Zoo.The annual showcase features thousands of dazzling lights, life-size illuminated animal displays and exciting entertainment, offering families a magical night-time experience and a standout holiday attraction.The spokesperson for Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo, Jenny Moodley says the Festival will continue until the 4th of January 2026

Dobson Backs Kolisi Return

Stormers director of rugby John Dobson believes Siya Kolisi will bring unique value to the Cape Town franchise when he returns next year, both on and off the field. Kolisi is set to rejoin the Stormers from the Sharks in July 2026. While his playing ability is widely recognised, Dobson said the Springbok captain’s biggest contribution will be his influence on the squad’s younger players. The Stormers currently boast a strong group of loose forwards and emerging leaders, including the last three Junior Springbok captains.

Banksy Reveals New London Mural

British street artist Banksy unveiled his latest work in central London this week. The black and white mural painted on the side of an old building in Bayswater shows two people, probably children, in winter hats and wellington boots lying down, looking up and pointing to the sky. Bansky whose real identity has not been revealed, posted an image of the work on his official Instagram account.
