The #Siyabaphilisa Outreach Programme, led by MEC Faith Mazibuko, offered health screenings, HIV and TB testing, vaccinations, chronic medication support and oral healthcare.
Residents also received assistance with identity documents, birth certificates and social grants.

Durban SPCA sleepover raises more than R222,000

Twenty seven Durban animal lovers spent a night sleeping in kennels at the Durban and Coast SPCA to raise funds for animals in need.
The fifth annual Kennel Sleepover saw participants give up their beds while friends and family helped raise money for the organisation.
The fundraiser had a target of R199,000, but supporters surpassed it by raising R222,500.
The money will help the SPCA rescue, shelter and provide veterinary care for animals across the greater Durban area.
