South Africa has set a new Guinness World Records title with a 15.98-metre bunny chow built at Bhai’s Lounge in Centurion.
Fire Water Earth Productions and Bhai’s Lounge used a custom 17-metre oven to bake a single loaf, then filled it with 40 kilograms of lamb curry and 10 kilograms of sugar bean curry.
Adjudicator Mbali Nkosi monitored the process and confirmed the record after measuring the final dish.
Officials from the Tshwane Municipality inspected the site and enforced health and safety compliance during the attempt.

The “1 Million Tables” initiative has recorded 136 tables across 74 towns and cities in South Africa, with 679 people gathering in homes and restaurants to share plant-based food.
Participants take part by serving meals that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, water use and land pressure linked to food production.
Worldwide, the campaign has reached more than 170 countries, with over 2,300 tables and about 19,000 participants so far.
