Learners from Spark Rivonia High School spearheaded a major outreach initiative to support vulnerable children at the Thuthuzela Aid Community Centre.
The students collected and delivered over 100 boxes of essentials, including clothing, food, and sanitary products.
The initiative not only provided much-needed support but also gave the young leaders a chance to connect, listen, and learn from the community.
The school's assistant principal Phethego Malapane has emphasized that the initiative aimed to empower students to understand their role in shaping society through service and empathy.

Talented music teacher, Monde Msutwana, has been recognised as a contributing composer on a Grammy-winning album.
The recognition places Msutwana among the ranks of internationally acclaimed musicians and composers.
His credits include work with some of South Africa’s most celebrated artists, such as Hugh Masekela, Vusi Mahlasela, Lira, and Judith Sephuma.
Internationally, he has collaborated with Grammy-winning US artist MattB and contributed to the celebrated South African TV show The River, for which he received a SAFTA award in 2024.
He says being recognised as a contributing composer on a Grammy-winning album means that the work he has been putting in throughout the years has paid off.
